James Dyson, You Have Mail

I doubt this will actually reach Mr. Dyson himself but Shmoo was so proud of himself and excited to have written a letter to his hero (and possible future employer!).

Hiscutt (Windmill) Park & The Groovy Penguin Cafe

A windy, cold, drizzly day; a quick feeding of the seagulls and ducks at the scenic Windmill Park; and a lovely morning tea of scones and hot chocolate at The Groovy Penguin Cafe...

House of Anvers

The boys and The OH loved the butterscotch fudge. I thought the milk chocolate ganache truffle was very yummy...

No, I don't "treat them like girls".

I do my best to treat my children as the human beings they are.

Baby Bear had yet another echocardiogram done this afternoon and another ECG too. The cardiologists were happy that he is stable so are keeping meds at the same dosage.

An RCH cardiologist will be in Launnie in May so we've been booked in for that clinic. Baby Bear's surgery has been scheduled to happen within the next 4 weeks and they'll repair both his VSD and PFO.

TMAC Martial Arts Seminar

Unfortunately due to the craziness of the last month Shmoo had to miss out on the tournament that was held just before Easter but he is really excited about attending this seminar over in Launceston tomorrow.

Provisional Registration

:) Our application to homeschool Loo Bear was accepted and we've been granted provisional registration. The monitoring visit should take place in the next couple of months. Knowing our luck it will probably be scheduled for when things are craziest due to Baby Bear's heart surgery!
